(“CV”) is a Burlington, Ontario based premium childcare and education business with centres presently located in Ancaster, Burlington and Richmond Hill, Ontario (as of September 2009). CV is the leader in childcare in Ontario in terms of quality of its facilities, its curriculum, its care and nutrition and security.

The company is in the early stages of a growth plan which will see it expand its centres first across Ontario, then across Canada. Spara Merchant Capital Corp is an active shareholder in CV, participating in the ongoing management of the Company and the growth process.

Investment in CRS Electronics

CRS Electronics Inc. ("CRS"), the operating subsidiary of Podium Capital Corporation (TSX VENTURE:LED), is a Welland, Ontario based engineer, designer, and manufacturer of LED lighting. CRS was the qualifying transaction of Podium Capital Corporation under the Capital Pool Corporation (“CPC”) program of the TSX Venture exchange.

Spara Merchant Capital Corp is a seed investor in Podium Capital Corporation, and also lead the search, and negotiation with CRS during the qualifying process. Spara Merchant President Jason Sparaga sits on the board of CRS.

EasyPack Solutions Inc (“EPS”) is a Brantford, Ontario based company which sells packaging equipment and proprietary film for Butterfly™, an exciting innovation in uni-dose packaging. EPS has the exclusive rights to Butterfly™ and the packaging equipment in North America.

Spara Merchant Capital Corp is an active investor in EPS, assisting management in establishing infrastructure and systems in the earlier stages of the company’s growth. Spara will maintain an active board and management role in the business going forward.
