Spara Merchant Capital Corp. ("SMCC") is a private holding company that makes investments in small, privately owned
Canadian businesses through The Spark Fund. The Spark Fund is a Dedicated Fund committed to "spark"ing the growth and
development of early stage, privately owned Canadian companies by providing the necessary capital and operational
experience to transition to the next level. The Spark Fund targets both minority and majority interest investments in
businesses with revenues and enterprise values under $5 million.

Managing Director - Michael Wolfe:
|
|
Michael joined SMCC in March 2010 and is responsible for the firm's investing activities.
Michael has 17 years of private equity investing, business valuation and accounting experience,
working primarily with mid-market companies. Prior to joining SMCC, Michael was General Partner
at VenGrowth Private Equity Partners Inc. He was responsible for managing subordinated debt and
equity investments. Michael was an active member on the Board of Directors for several VenGrowth
investee companies and was a member of VenGrowth's investment committee and valuation committee.
Michael holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree, is a Chartered Accountant and a
Chartered Business Valuator.
